The rules check happens on your phone. It never leaves your device.
When AI is ON, a masked copy of the message is sent to our server (https://api.abalol.xyz API). Phone numbers, emails, card/account numbers, OTP codes, names and addresses are replaced on your phone with tokens like [PHONE] before anything is sent.
Our server forwards the masked text to the AI provider (Cloudflare Workers AI (gpt-oss-120b)) for the explanation. Cloudflare states that it does not use this text to train AI models and does not keep it after the response is delivered (zero data retention, with limited legal and security exceptions). Still, do not paste anything you would not want shared.
We do not store or log the text — not even the masked copy. We only count anonymous daily counters (e.g. how many checks per day).
You can turn AI off with the switch on the main page. The result is rules-only when it is off.
Blank out any other personal details before pasting.
